Episode Ten - The Second Chance

Join us this week for our big tenth episode spectacular! (which we in no way reference at all during the actual 'cast) We review my favorite Christian movie of all-time! THE SECOND CHANCE! It not only attacks mega-churches (of which I've been burned, but who hasn't?), it also brings to light the excellent acting chops of Jeff Obafemi Carr, the incredible direction of Christian music icon Steve Taylor, the ok acting of Michael W. Smith in a riveting story of bigotry, redemption and God's true message of love and ministry. Watch as Pastor Jake spits some street science and practices the sweet science! Listen as Jon calls out Sony and Nintendo with an open letter against censorship. Marvel as Don says almost nothing and has no meds to blame this time! Show Notes: - I was not likening AIDS victims to homosexuals. I remembered talk of a homosexual character on Sesame Street. Not that theres anything wrong with that... - Steve Taylor started Squint Records. Get educated (via wiki... naturally). - Cher received an Academy Award for Best Actress in Moonstruck. - A better name for a sequel would have been 'The Third Chance' and would involve the Riddle Killer (see Episode Six - Thr3e).
