The second episode of the Super Candid Podcast, discussion of Christian movies, music and other media from a pair of Christians who are sick and tired of bad Christian movies, music and other media.  This week's movie:  Hangman's Curse.  It's a teen spy film dealing with the occult, ghosts, goths, highschool drama, cliques, bullies and eight-legged freaks, but is it any good?  Or is it yet another Christian movie that will insult not only your intelligence but your faith?  Tune in to find out what our reviewers thought, as well as the latest Christian music and movie news, highlighting artists and films that might be overlooked if you only browse the most popular Christian releases.

Episode Thirty Eight (38) - The Christmas Card

Editor's Note:  We're re-posting our Christmas episodes that were lost when Podango went under just after Christmas day.  This is the first of several re-posts.  Enjoy!   Originally Posted on November 12, 2008  With the sun in the sky and shorts on our legs, we're recording our first Christmas episode of the year... This is about as winter-y as it gets in the fall in New Mexico. This week we review EMMY NOMINATED TV Movie The Christmas Card  starring Mr. Fantastic's girlfriend and the guy who played Superboy on TV in the late 80's. In other words, a holiday classic. In a nutshell, a nice lady mails Christmas cards to anonymous troops in Afghanistan, anonymous troop loves card and visits the church he heard about in the card, Ed Asner intervenes and romance ensues. Since muxtape is all weird right now, I'm not posing the intro and outro musics in protest until it comes back up. Episode Thirty Three - The List

The SuperCandid Podcast returns with a review of The List, Gary Wheeler's adaptation of Robert Whitlow's novel of the same name.

The film stars Macolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Time after Time, Heroes), Chuck Carrington (JAG) and Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill).

The film follows Carrington's character Renny who discovers that his father has left the massive family fortune to charity.  Renny is distraught until he learns that the only thing that his father did leave him is "The Covenant List of South Carolina," a mysterious document dating back to the civil war, that is described as the true source of his family's riches.
