The Great Falls tribune has a story about filmmaker Gerald Bickel's latest movie, a Christian movie about an angel who comes to earth and falls in love. Sounds like a Montana based remake of Michael, but the proceeds of the film will go to benefit an 11-year old who needs heart surgery.
What a great and wonderful time we live in when Great Falls, MT can make a film that gets national attention. I'm looking forward to seeing the result.

hmmm... that does sound an awful lot like a Christian version of 'Michael'. maybe he should have made a movie about an apparition that falls in love... that would be far more interesting.
Hi Everyone, this is Gerald Bickel, the director of the Montana movie Reborn. I appreciate the commentary but my film is nothing like Micheal, it is a different type of movie. This movie is like no other.Go to www.reborn-bickel.com
hope to see you at the premier.
Sounds like a wonderful idea to me. I make Low, budget indie films myself so I applaud any independent effort that especially has a positive result.

I just saw this movie... Terrible, terrible, terrible... The acting in this movie was so bad that I had to turn the movie off half way through. I don't mean to be harsh and I understand that it takes a lot of work to make a movie. But this movie is all about the filmmaker trying to showcase himself... "www.Reborn-Bickel.com" really? I do commend that the revenue was donated to a good thing. But this movie "Reborn" just furthers my case that anyone with a home video camera can consider themselves a filmmaker. I also applaud the effort but It is so hard to find quality indie films these days.
