Dinner wasn't exactly what I had planned. Nicole & I were both not feeling well, and our furnace was on the fritz, so we had kind of a lousy night. I helped her make fideos to settle her stomach, and then she decided that my cheese sandwich looked good, so I made her one of those as well. We spent most of the rest of the night huddled together under a blanket, so I suppose it turned out well.

I was going to post about how much I'm enjoying reading about your love dare adventures -- in spite of you creating cravings for fideos and putting Madonna songs in my head.
But now that I see that an investment opportunity awaits you from someone who calls you "sun shines" ... well, it is obvious that my post is destined to be greatly overshadowed.
Honestly, though, I am thoroughly enjoying this, Jon. I haven't seen "Fireproof" yet, but as "marriage mentors," I am constantly wondering about the upshot of the faith-film community's involvement/investment in marriages. Have you seen "No Greater Love"? I watched the 30-min preview yesterday and actually kinda enjoyed it.

Glad you're liking it. Fireproof is pretty good, but the "message" is really overblown for its audience, although I've heard that they have great success in many ministries.
I'm trying to save my thoughts for the final post, but it really feels like it is written for people who just believe their spouse is the biggest jerk in the world.
& I haven't seen No Greater Love, but I've gotten emails from the producer regularly on Facebook.
